PEANUT BRITTLE
Mix:
2 c sugar
1 c white karo
1 c hot water
stir ‘til sugar dissolves
Cook:
232 degrees
Add:
2-3 c raw Spanish peanuts
Cook:
to very light straw color
oven 298-300 degrees
remove
Add:
2 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp butter
stir in good
Serve:
pour in buttered pan
