Ham Hock and Beans
Cook: 1 ½ c beans
2 qta cold water
simmer ingredients for 2 minutes
Remove from heat and let stand one hour
Add: ham hock
½ tsp salt
bay leaf
pepper
cover and simmer for 3-3 ½ hours
