Buttermilk Scones

Combine: in large bowl
1 qt buttermilk warmed
3 T. sugar
2 beaten eggs
2 T. oil
1 ½ tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
½ tsp soda
2 pkg soften yeast
4 c flour

Prep work: beat ingredients until smooth and well mixed
add 4 c flour
allow to rise
cover until double
punch down and place in refrigerator over night
roll out just before frying

Fry: 375 degrees

Honey Butter:1 c butter
1 ¼ c honey
1 egg yolk
beat ingredients 10 minutes with beaters
