Pam's Chili

Boil:
cover 2 ½ c chili beans in water
bring to a boil
boil 3 min
drain and rinse

Combine:
put beans in a pan with 6 c water
2 bay leaves
1 tsp salt

Cook:
simmer until tender

Add:
2 lbs hamburger
2 med browned onions
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp chili powder
qt tomato juice
scant c catsup
1 can tomato sauce

Cook:
heat simmer 1 hour
